To fully appreciate the effectiveness of Advil, it’s important to first understand how an orally administered analgesic reaches the site of pain or injury. So let’s look at how analgesics are absorbed.

An analgesic taken in a tablet form must first be broken down into a liquid solution within the stomach. It is then absorbed from the intestinal tract into the bloodstream.

The advanced patented technology used in Advil Liquid Capsules enables the capsule to break down shortly after coming into contact with the stomach. Because Advil’s liquid ibuprofen is already in a solubilised form, it is absorbed into the bloodstream much faster.

Once absorbed, the drug is distributed throughout the body to rush pain relief to where it is needed most.
